Dr Natalia Castejón, a Marie Curie REWIRE Fellow (2021-2024) at the University of Vienna, specialises in Food Science with a focus on the BioactALGAE project, which investigates innovative green chemistry methods to enhance microalgal biomass. Her previous roles include Assistant Professor at Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (2020-2021) and Postdoctoral Researcher at Háskóli Íslands (2019). She earned her PhD in Food Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2013-2018) and has a master’s in Agricultural Chemistry and New Foods. Dr Castejón’s expertise bridges academia and practical applications in food science.
