This presentation explores technologies for producing algae extracts for biostimulants and biofertilizers. It covers the biofertilizers/biostimulants market, key compounds, and production challenges. The SABANA project is highlighted, aiming to develop a large-scale integrated microalgae-based biorefinery for producing biostimulants, biopesticides, biofertilizers, aquafeed, and feed additives, using only marine water and nutrients from wastewater, showcasing its potential in sustainable agriculture.
