Dr Ronan Sulpice is a Lecturer in the School of Natural Sciences at NUI Galway (since 2012) and a member of the Plant & AgriBiosciences Research Centre and the Ryan Institute. He obtained his PhD in Rennes, France, in 2000 and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Japan and Germany. His research focuses on how photosynthetic organisms adapt to their environment, particularly at the metabolic level, exploring mechanisms in various organisms from Cyanobacteria to higher plants. This work aims to enhance understanding for biotechnology and breeding applications.
