Professor Emeritus at the University and Honorary Professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Vince Ördög established the Mosonmagyaróvár Algal Culture Collection, featuring approximately 500 algal strains from Brazilian soil. Over the past 30 years, he has collaborated with research partners in South Africa and various EU countries on EU-FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects, investigating the plant biostimulating and protective properties of these algal strains.
