Silvio Mangini is a scientific advisor at Archimede Ricerche Srl, a leading microalgae producer in Italy, and has 35 years of experience in energy management, process engineering, and microalgae biotechnology. He holds an MSc in Industrial Chemistry and has contributed to the BioFAT FP7 and Saltgae H2020 EU projects. Mangini serves as the convenor of CEN/TC454 Algae standards /WG5 and is a member of CEN/TC 460 Food Authenticity. He is also a board member of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) and coordinates the Industrial Committee of the Italian Algae Association (AISAM).
