Sammy Boussiba is a Managing Director of Microalgae Biotechnology at Ben Gurion University since 1978. He serves as Vice-President of the European Algae Biomass Association in Israel. Boussiba completed postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry at Cornell University from 1982 to 1984, and holds a PhD in the Physiology and Biochemistry of Cyanobacteria from Ben-Gurion University (1976-1981). His extensive expertise in microalgae biotechnology and leadership in the field underscores his significant contributions to academic research and industry advancements.
