Professor Pengcheng Fu has over two decades of experience in academia, currently serving as a Professor at Hainan University since 2017. His research focuses on biofuels, bioenergy, systems biology, and synthetic biology. He previously held professorships at the State Key Laboratory of Marine Resource Utilization at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and China University of Petroleum. His earlier roles include Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Staff Scientist at Diversa. He earned his PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
