Olivier Cagnac is currently the Project Leader for Proteins and Phycocyanin at FERMENTALG since 2018. He previously led the Experimental Innovation Department in the same area (2016-2018). Cagnac has substantial post-doctoral experience, having worked at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (2008-2012) and UC Davis (2005-2008). He also served as an ATER at Université de Poitiers (2003-2004) and earned his PhD in Cell Biology and Biochemistry there (2000-2004). His expertise lies in innovative approaches to protein and phycocyanin research.
