Martin Trtilek is the CEO and President of Photon Systems Instruments, a global leader in instrumentation for imaging and monitoring biological signals in plants and algae. He graduated from VUT, Brno in 1992 and received the EY Technical Businessman of the Year award in 2016. Trtilek is a member of the board for commercialization at the Institute of Microbiology of the CAS and has led significant research activities in algae and plant science, including roles as Leader of the Biotechnology group at the Czech Academy of Science and the PSI research group.
