Lars Bähr is a biologist from Humboldt University of Berlin with expertise in cyanobacteria and microalgae. He completed his diploma thesis in 2013, focusing on high-density cyanobacteria growth in photobioreactors, which resulted in patent applications. Between 2015 and 2016, he was involved in the EXIST startup grant. In 2016, Lars co-founded CellDEG GmbH, which specializes in membrane-based high-density cultivation systems for microalgae. He currently serves as one of the managing directors of the company.
