Jorge Dias has been the Co-Owner and General Manager of SPAROS Lda. in Algarve, Portugal, since 2008, leading the Feed Technology Platform. He served as a researcher at DSM Nutritional Products from 2006 to 2012 and previously at INRA in France from 2001 to 2006. He completed his PhD in fish nutrition and aquaculture at the Universidade do Porto between 1996 and 1999, focusing on lipid deposition in rainbow trout and European seabass. His academic and technical expertise underpins his significant contributions to marine science and aquaculture technology.
