Jon Funderud is a Research & Innovation Manager at Seaweed Solutions AS since January 2023. He previously served as CEO of Seaweed Energy Solutions AS for over 12 years. Funderud began his career as a research assistant at NTNU for nine months in 2010. He holds a Master of Science in Biology from Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet, where he studied from 2004 to 2010. His extensive experience in the seaweed industry positions him as a leader in research and innovation.
