Jean-Paul Cadoret has 35 years of experience in research and industry, specialising in algae and marine biotechnology. He has held various positions including Researcher, Team Leader, Lab Director, and Unit Director at the governmental institute IFREMER. He was formerly Managing Director of the private marine biotech company GREENSEA and is a co-founder of Algenics and Iaso-Biotech. Cadoret has authored 80 publications and holds 10 patents. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at ALGAMA Foods and serves as Vice President of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA).
