Professor Isabel Sousa Pinto serves at the Department of Biology, University of Porto and is the Director of the Coastal Biodiversity Laboratory at Cimar. She is a member of the IPBES Multidisciplinary Expert Panel and co-chairs the Knowledge and Data task force. Additionally, she holds the position of Coordinating Lead Author for the IPBES Regional Assessment of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services for Europe and Central Asia. Her extensive involvement in multiple H2020 projects highlights her commitment to marine and environmental research.
