Herminia Dominguez is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Vigo, Spain, where she has been in position since 2023. She holds a degree in Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry) and an MSc in Chemical Engineering, both obtained in 1988 and 1989 respectively. Dominguez earned her PhD in 1992 in Chemical Engineering within the Biotechnology Program at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her international experience includes research positions at the Saskatchewan Research Council in Canada and Lund University in Sweden.
