The venture earned accolades from major companies such as PepsiCo and Chipotle. In 2019, he advanced alternative protein through his new venture, Sophie’s BioNutrients, based in Singapore. The company cultivates microalgae in bioreactors and has expanded to Europe, developing the world's first allergen-free microalgae-based dairy alternatives and burger patties using its innovative microalgae protein concentrate. Eugene continues to drive innovation in the plant-based sector.
