Deepak Rawat is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of Delhi, India. He holds a PhD in Environmental Microbiology and has applied ecological principles of mutualism between algae and bacteria to enhance bioremediation designs. Deepak is the recipient of the Newton-Bhabha PhD placement award, funded by the British Council and Newton Fund, as well as the COVID-19 Psychological Research Recovery Award from the British Phycological Society. His expertise lies in integrating ecological concepts with practical solutions for environmental challenges.
