David Chiaramonti is a full professor at the Polytechnic of Turin, specialising in Renewable Energies, particularly Bioenergy, Biofuels, and small hydro power. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Vice Rector for International Affairs. His research focuses on biomass conversion processes, biofuel production, and biobased products, with a recent emphasis on biochar and compost to enhance agricultural resilience to climate change. An accomplished author with over 120 publications, he holds editorial roles in various scientific journals and participates actively in international conferences. He is also the President of the non-profit research consortium RE-CORD.
