Claire Smith is a vegan fintech entrepreneur and impact investor, currently serving as the CEO of Beyond Investing since September 2017. Based in Ireland and Switzerland, she founded the humane investment platform focusing on cruelty-free programs and venture capital in vegan businesses. Notably, she created the US Vegan Climate Index, listed as the US Vegan Climate ETF in 2019, alongside other global indexes. Previously, Claire held analyst and partnership roles at Albourne Partners and worked at UBS group companies and Chase Manhattan Bank. She is also the founder of 100 Women in Finance in Geneva and President of Beyond Cruelty Foundation.
