Carolina Ferreira is a Research Grant Fellow at the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP) in Marinha Grande, Portugal, since 2020, focusing on moulding composites for the C.Orthopedics project. She holds a Master's Degree in Marine Resources Biotechnology from the Polytechnic of Leiria, where she completed her dissertation on incorporating bioactive extracts from Undaria pinnatifida into electrospun wound dressings. Carolina's work demonstrates her expertise in product development within the field of biotechnology.
