António Pagarete is a marine microbiologist and manager in the algae biotechnology sector. He has a robust academic background in microalgae, bacterial, and viral ecology and evolution. Since 2018, he has been the Manager at Pagarete Microalgae Solutions. Previously, he worked as a researcher at Plymouth Marine Laboratory and PML Applications Ltd from 2010 to 2011 and completed his PhD in marine molecular biology at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (2006–2010).
