This presentation gives an overview of the different multiproduct biorefinery approaches of biomolecules (proteins, pigments, lipids, carbohydrates) mediated by different ionic liquids. Both undisrupted and disrupted microalgae will be subjected to different ionic liquids to recovery separately the different biomolecules. Finally, an outlook will be given to new solvents (Deep Eutectic Solvents) which can be used as well for the multiproduct biorefinery of microalgae and are more natural.
