B-carotene has multiple origins both biological and synthetic. Distinctly, one of the biological sources of this carotenoid is microalgae species such as Dunaliella salina. In this presentation, the main features of the B-carotene market segmentation, as well as key figures, are addressed. Examples of products with algae sources will be presented along with the key drivers for future growth.
