This presentation evaluates the biostimulant effects of Chlorophyta microalgae on plant growth. The Biological Research Center in Szeged, Hungary, tested three strains of Chlamydomonas and Chlorella, with Chlorella showing notable improvements in leaf pigment, thickness, fruit size, and yield. The study highlights that biostimulant efficacy is strain-specific, influenced by preparation and application methods, with extracellular polysaccharides (EPS) and algae-bacteria co-cultures playing a significant role in boosting plant growth.
