This presentation discusses the application of microalgae and cyanobacteria as biostimulants and biofertilizers from a scientific perspective. It begins with an overview of the BIO 175 UAL research group's background, followed by insights into plant growth-promoting microorganisms and agro-biotechnological applications of microalgae and cyanobacteria. A case study of the SABANA project is presented, and emerging challenges in the field are explored.
