This presentation discusses microalgal proteins and bioactives for food, feed, and other applications. It introduces the 'IDEA' project, aimed at developing an economically viable algae-based value chain. Nannochloropsis is highlighted as a protein and peptide source, followed by its microbial content. The nutritional profile of microalgae for functional pet treats is explored. Additionally, the protein and peptide content of Porphyridium, Chlorella, and Scenedesmus species is discussed, emphasizing their potential in various applications.
