Rhianna Rees is a dedicated Seaweed Specialist and Scottish Sector Developer based in Oban, Scotland. As the Business Development Manager for the Scottish Seaweed Industry Association since February 2023, she focuses on growth initiatives and fostering industry partnerships. Previously, she coordinated a £400k project at SAMS Enterprise to create tailored courses for the Seaweed Academy. Rhianna holds a Master's degree in Global Environmental History from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from the University of Kent. She is also the author of a thesis exploring the historical and marketing aspects of seaweed consumption in Britain.
