Michael Kröger is a Scientist at the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ GmbH) since 2008, focusing on the utilisation of microalgae and the hydrothermal and thermochemical treatment of biowaste materials. He serves as project manager for scientific initiatives such as BioWtL and FEBio@H2O, and has held leadership roles in working groups for TC 454 since 2019. He earned his PhD in Engineering from the University of Rostock in 2012, following a Master of Engineering from HTWK Leipzig in 2007 and a Dipl.-Ing. in Energy and Environmental Engineering.
