Katerina Bisova is a principal investigator at the Institute of Microbiology since 2006. She served as a visiting scientist at the National Institute of Basic Biology in 2009 and was a research associate at the Salk Institute from 2004 to 2006. Bisova completed her JSPS fellowship at The University of Tokyo from 2001 to 2003. She holds a PhD in cell biology from the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (1996-2001) and an MSc in microbiology and molecular biology from Charles University (1991-1996).
