Jorunn Skjermo is a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Ocean in Trondheim, Norway, with a focus on sustainable solutions for aquaculture, particularly in seaweed cultivation and microbial management. She has held this position since January 2017. Skjermo earned her PhD in Aquaculture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (1991-1996) and holds a Master of Science in the same field from NTNU (1988-1990).
