The individual is currently a Project Manager in Algae Biorefinery at Wageningen University in Amsterdam, a position held since 2012. With extensive experience in bio-process engineering, they have coordinated various projects focused on the production of chemicals and biofuels from microalgae, lignocellulosic biomass, and seaweeds. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Scientist at ECN for nearly 15 years. They hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Amsterdam and have contributed significantly to advancements in the field of bioenergy and biorefinery.
