Enora Briand is a researcher at IFREMER, specialising in aquatic microbial ecology, particularly the physiology of toxic microalgae since 2017. She previously held postdoctoral fellowships at the Université de Rennes 1 (2014-2016) and Scripps Institution of Oceanography (2012-2014), focusing on cyanobacterial secondary metabolites and their environmental roles. Her earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at CNRS (2009-2011) studying toxic strains of Microcystis, and she completed her PhD at MNHN Paris (2005-2008), investigating factors influencing cyanobacterial distribution. Her academic background includes a DEA in biological oceanography from Université Pierre et Marie Curie.
