Derek Latil is a co-founder of Algemy Ingredients since 2021 in Vic, Catalonia. He has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, having worked as an Innovation Consultant at Inlecom Commercial Pathways and as Business Development Manager for Circular & Bio Economy at LEITAT Technological Center from 2018 to 2021. Previously, he held a position in Business Development and Technical Sales at Greenaltech from 2017 to 2018. Derek holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Universitat de Barcelona and has completed an Executive Master in Innovation from the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
