Bas de Leeuw is the General Manager of North Sea Farmers since May 2021. He has been a Full Member of the Club of Rome since November 2017 and served as Managing Director of the World Resources Forum from April 2012 to April 2021. De Leeuw was a National Expert at the OECD in 2001 and worked as a Senior Advisor/Coordinator for Sustainable Consumption at UN Environment from 1998 to 2001. He led the Consumer and Product Policy department at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management from 1991 to 1997 and was a research assistant/journalist at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1979 to 1985.
